Hello, I'm Ritik Balwant.

As a creative developer, I focus on both design and development — creative — lover of all things craft.

Development and design, in my opinion, are very overlapping disciplines because both entail finding solutions to people's problems, which makes us think and hence helps us get better at finding solutions.

I'm a Junior-year student at Manipal Institute of Technology, Bengaluru pursuing my Bachelor's in Technology in Computer Science and Engineering with specialisation in Cyber Security.

I have been the Head of Design at my university for some of the major communities and societies.

One of my biggest projects is designing the complete Brand Identity for the first edition of our technical fest, Tech Solstice from ground zero, it was loved by everyone, got so much appreciation, and was put everywhere on campus and elsewhere.

Beyond academics, I find interest in reading good non-fiction (recently started reading fiction as well, and I must say it's fantastic), listening to music, practicing calisthenics, and watching nature-travel documentaries.

I love travelling, exploring new cultures, and capturing beautiful experiences. Photography makes me feel happy, excited, and peaceful. Favourite themes include Nature & Wildlife, Travel, Portraits, and Monochrome.

I am extremely enthusiastic about life and meeting new people in general, and believe that strangers are the friends you haven't met yet.
